Default DCS ALLTRAX problem

I have a ‘97 DCS TXT with the Alltrax NCT-48275-DCS controller I just recently installed to replace a faulty original. It’s a stock performance controller, designed to be cheaper than the XCT.

The cart ran fine at the time of installation about 2 months ago. I maintained the Trojan batteries which have a strong 38.4v.

Now, after resting for a couple months, the cart will do nothing. No lights on the controller, no solenoid click.

Keyswitch, FNR microswitches, tow/run switch, pedal microswitch, and reed switch (bypassed) are fine. There is pack voltage at the Tow/run switch as well as the controller B+.

Why is this thing suddenly dead? Any ideas? Thanks.

Hmm, I have not worked with the NCT, Can you confirm power to the control panel?
Have you called Alltrax tech support when you are with the cart and your meter?

That’s one thing I haven’t done. I’m getting power to the DCS plug.

Contact Ron with Alltrax. He is great to work with. I installed NCT on a DS last week, and it ran for about 15 minutes then quit. It turned out to be a bad controller after I talked to Ron.

It won’t even power up with the USB cord so they agreed it’s faulty. I’m sending it in for a repair/replacement.
