Default Voltage?

Using a stock series motor with an upgraded controller, F/R switch and solenoid, how much difference will you see from going to 42 volts and then going from 42 volts to 48 volts?

Both of your numbers are from 36 volts. He may not have meant it, but he said, "going from 42 volts to 48 volts".

Going from 36V to 42V = 16.7% gain in speed and torque. (6 / 36 = .167)
Going from 36V to 48V = 33.3% gain in speed and torque. (12 /36 = .333)

Going from 42V to 48V = 14.3% gain in speed and torque. (6 /42 = .143)

Reviewed contracts in my former life, before retiring. One misplaced word can literally cost millions. Ask how I know, having fought and conceded a contract I didn't review.
