Question Alltrax TXT48-400 & 200Amp Solenoid upgrade Issues

I upgraded my 2010 48V EZG0 TXT Cart with a new Alltrax TXT48-400 Controller, and 200 AMP Solenoid. When I put in either fwd, or rev, the solenoid clicks, and it attempts to role forward, or backwards, but then stops. I have tested the voltage and everything appears to look good at the controller, and solenoid. I am questioning whether I have the solenoid wired correctly, and whether I need to the resistor wired in.

Yes, the plus side goes to the controller B+ and the other side goes to the fuse on the + battery terminal. I removed the resistor, because it appears from the diagram that the XCT controller does not need the resistor.

The plus on the solenoid should go to the battery back positive.

I switched everything around, and still get the same result. put it in FWD, and tries to move roll forward, and put it in reverse, and tries to roll backwards.

Is there a reason you're focusing on the solenoid and not the controller? When I installed an Alltrax in my TXT48 it had the wrong mapping for the motor and the wrong mapping for the throttle. I had very little power and top speed of 2mph because it thought it was a Club Car.

Here's a tidbit from ScottyB when he identified my issue:
"Throttle maybe not set to correct selection. Assuming Ezgo TXT the LED should flash green 4 times when powered up and go solid green."

Agreed, the solenoid looks to be properly connected now. On to the controller.
What is the LED blink code flashing when you try to go? It should be 4 green blinks and then solid green.

Checked the controller tonight, and it flashes green 4 times, and then goes solid green. I used the monitor feature to capture the parameters when attempting to operate. Motor voltage, current, and amps look low.

Your batteries are dead - dead... It started at 45.3v which is WAY too low. a 48V pack is drained dead at 48v... never go below 48v. Under load your batteries dropped to 28.6v!

You need to charge your pack then check your individual battery voltages after they've been unplugged from the charger for 12 or more hours. You may have several bad batteries and/or a bad charger.
