battery discharge machine
The short version of a long story, I bought a fleet of 2014 txt's, Rxv's and CC Precedents. I'm going to get more, the first load is almost all sold.(after a LOT of work). I want to get a Lester discharge machine to load test the carts. The batteries are in various states of year, condition and equalization. Will discharging the packs help with equalizing the individual batteries? Charging the low batteries individually is taking a looooong time. Thanks !!

Re: battery discharge machine
If it connects to each battery in the string then it should. If it connects to only the pack + and pack - then the weakest batteries will see the biggest drop, just like when in use on a cart. Or, if it connects to only one battery at a time then you can basically bottom-balance them similar to lithium packs.
