99 EZGO Series cart from an auction upgrades?
I am back, after trying to buy a Madjax 25-001 controller and not being able to verify whether or not it could be able to work with a series controller, I am asking directly for recommendations.
the cart has been lifted, has big tires and an upgraded F/R switch and upgraded solenoid. It has a rear seat and an upgraded GE motor (8hp). I have purchased 6 Trojan T-105 batteries and new 2 ga wires. given that information, if you had to buy a new controller that was primarily going to be used hunting (not really that much pulling or mud holes though, and on a riverwalk next to my business) What would you recommend. |

I’d get the Alltrax SR48400 or better from Scotty at cartsunlimited.net.

I’d get the 500 if I were him too- for sure. But the 400 is also a great controller.

Re: 99 EZGO Series cart from an auction upgrades?
there is no doubt. the ALLTRAX SR 48500 controller the difference between the 400 and 500 controller is only $25 (if you get it from cartsunlimited) as if you get the 400 and want the cooling fan its extra.....and if you buy the 500 it comes with it. and that is something you want.
I have built 2 for hunting buggies, the 500 is the way to go. |
