Default Cushman Hauler 1000 questions

I just got a 2013 Cushman Hauler 1000, and someone removed the front panel where the keyswitch, FNR, and light switch was mounted. Can anyone help me identify these wires?

I need some more help- what is this “Aux coil” that the Curtis 1268-5411 wants to reference? Whatever it is is cut out of mine. Is it necessary? The controller is just throwing error codes related to that.

Here is the manual http://www.fsip.biz/Documents/1268%2006A%20MANUAL.pdf

Aux coil could be a couple of things but the error codes will pinpoint it.

That’s strange. Mine seems to use the pins marked as not used, such as J1-6.

What are these wires for? Something’s been cut off.

Could have been a walk away brake. Most of that stuff can be turned on and off with a hand held.

I think that may be what it was. Not sure where to get that though.

So I put a solenoid on the wires that were cut off and it seems happy now. I think what it was is a solenoid that closes to allow the motor current to go back to the batteries during regen braking.

The error codes are gone and the new solenoid closes when I roll the cart.

Now I just need some help with this wiring up in front. I have traced all the wires – but I don’t know what key switch and what FNR switch were used previously. Anybody have one of these that would be willing to share? I can pay if needed.

Boy you sure are needy..

A standard Ezgo switch plate would would work fine and there may already be wires there for a state of charge meter. A standard FnR switch will work as well as the keyswitch. If it has lights make sure to get the one for that. That controller also has a rabbit turtle mode so if you plan on using that feature you will need a switch for that also.

What pin wires do you have at the dash ?

Also go look at page 14 and 15 of the manual I attached for the wiring diagram you need. There is also a section in there about drivers which has to do with the aux brake and walkaway features and how to turn those off.

I have wires coming from the first and last pins (1 and 23) for the ignition maybe? Several pack negatives and a 12v positive (lights?) and a 48v positive (battery meter).

Did this use the same FNR switch as a PDS?
