Default Ezgo txt won't go

Have a 97 txt converted from 36 to 48 volts, alltrax NPX 4844 controller. Replaced solenoid and ITS still no go, controller flashes four green lights then solid green controller ready to go. Decided to replace F/R with the DC reversing contactor sw182 for 48 volt followed Scotty B directions still no go. In the directions it shows a Curtis style controller, I'm wondering if the orange 1/2 speed reverse wire needs to wire in someplace since its part of the six pin connector. Any help thanks

1/2 speed reverse is not needed for basic operation... so the problem is else where.
Does the solenoid click and controller LED turn Green?
If yes does the DC182 click when you press the gas in either direction?

With the cart on Jack stands press the throttle all the way down and check the status light on the controller. It should turn to orange. If it does that would mean you're throttle it's working correctly. If that checks ok I would then check the motor.

Well there is a lot to be trouble shot. If the cart ran before the upgrade we could assume the throttle signal is good. If yes the controller LED will change from green to orange at full throttle.

The controller stays green at full throttle, then could it be the controller?

The cart had running issues before the upgrade. It would run and then it would not go. So I decided to replace all the known issue that I have read in certain post. But now I can see that the controller does not change colors at full throttle. Correction now after charging the cart overnight and now have 52.3 total pack voltage I am now getting 7 red blinking lights which states battery over voltage

Do those models have the ability to hook up to the Alltrax toolkit? On my sr there's a slider for the over voltage.

How long ago did the charger shut off? Isn't the 52.3 a little high for a 48v pack?

thanks for the response, have determined that the NPX controller has failed. I will post an update after putting new controller in

ok replaced the altrax controller with a 500amp star controller, using a 400amp solenoid. question is the pre charge resistor 470ohms 10watt is getting warm, but not hot is this normal or do I need a larger resistor for the 400amp solenoid?
