Default 2015 RXV charge port short and now wont go

Hello.

Long story short is that I plugged the charging cable in to my 2015 RXV and then attached the other side to the charger connector without plugging in the charger to the AC.

* The charger is damaged and the receptacle where the cord attaches is hanging off of the charger (this just happened). When i connected the cord to the charger, it shorted at the charger connector. There was a few sparks from battery voltage and now the cart will not move.

* Edit: The cable from the charger to the charge port on the cart only seems to have two wires pinned. I can tell by looking on the charger side of the connector and seeing only two terminals inside. So perhaps the short was directly across the battery pack? Is there a fuseable link maybe down stream?

When i key on:
- No solenoid click
- No reverse buzzer
- Battery meter is pegged on FULL; though i know the batteries should be near empty since it had a long run last night.
- Accessory power seems to still work.
- Tow switch does NOT work. However, swapping the harnesses to use the 'accessory power' as per the instructions under the tow switch does release the motor break.

What i have done:
- Checked a 10A fuse which looked OK. This was located next to the controller tow switch on the cover.

Recommendations?

What else should I check?

Also - the blue wire on the charging port is loose (cooncidently), but I dont think this matters because its not pinned on the charger and I can drive with the cord plugged in since the charger is onboard.

Thank you in advance.

-Eric

Bonus question: Does anyone know the part number of the charging cord connector that's on the Accusense Charger (blue label - model number 1-48017-04) - I need to replace it since the plastic nut on the back side holding it to the sheet metal snapped. There does not appear to be any obvious damage to the charger other than the connector.

Seems the issue is in the chart port receptacle. When i pull the blue wire up to 48v, everything is good. I am going to dig for the inline fuse as seen in another post.

In the new receptacle there is basically the equivalent of the old still reed switch and you may have fried that. If you can put +48 on the blue blue wire and all is well, that is it.

Now as for the nut. Are you talking about the one that mounts the round socket to the face of the charger ?

Here is a possible way to get a new cable. I've used Car Partners, LLC before. They have a storefront on Amazon. Go to this link and leave a message describing what you need and they will get back to you.

Yes. Exactly. There is a plastic nut on the front and on the back of the connector; the rear one being on the other side of the sheet metal. The rear nut and back of the socket have been cracked off so the socket has pulled to the front of the sheet metal. A part number from digikey or arrow, etc. would be super handy.

The other issue is now resolved. See http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...t-problem.html This post was spot on.

My 2 cents. I have a gen 4 charger that the plug and socket failed at the face of the charger. They have mailed me a new plug and cable. I had hard wired it so not in a hurry but original setup was a bad connection from the factory. New ones they sent me is much better. I have the nut but the socket is useless.
