That happened to me at the local shop once. Now I always check them twice before closing the car

I could see how that happens. they had a shelf full of red batteries, I am not surprised that the guy grabbed 3 of the wrong ones.

I am getting kind of lucky, I get to go up there on the clock. I talked the company I worked for into buying another golf cart and I told them I have to go up there anyways so I'll be picking up a utility golf cart while I'm up there.

When I bought my US 2200's, I noticed that two of them were 1800's after he loaded them in my truck. I quickly pointed it out and luckily he had enough of the 2200's to replace them. He said he didn't even order 1800's so he had to ship them back to wherever he ordered them from. I checked the manufacturers date and got lucky there. They were all made the month I bought them.

Picked up the right batteries. My buddy called while I was on my way there and asked me to pick up a single 8v for his cart. I then bought the company a new golf cart, didn't get the utility carts (turns out they are all gas), bought a TXT. It will be ready for pick up tomorrow, they are installing a back seat, 5 panel mirror and a head light and tail light kit.

On the cool side, I asked the guy how much the 5 panel mirrors were because I kind of want one for my golf cart. He said "since you just spent a boat load of money here in the last 24 hours you can have one". So I scored a free 5 panel mirror. It's a Pro fit brand.

Shout out to Ellis County Custom Carts, they have good service and are genuinely nice people to deal with!

I was referring to the battery mismatch

Sometimes, we get "leapfrogged" when typing a reply. That means our post doesn't follow the one we're referring to, like in your case. No mention of battery mismatch. That post was four hours earlier.

However, if you hit the "quote" button to the lower right of the post you are answering, it makes it clearer.

I often forget to do this, and for folks following, it gets all discombobulated.

Put the batteries in last night and took it for a test drive down to the lake..... Way better than before. It doesn't come to a crawl on hills anymore and it was nice getting to drive it without having to worry about whether or not it was going to die!

I also installed my mirror. I really need to find a new front roof support. It's so crooked from something the previous owner did. I had to mount the mirror goofy to keep it straight with the top...

I have a question for everyone. Is there a way to get rid of the back up siren? That sucker is so loud, annoying and unnecessary!
