Default Battery desision

I have a stock 2012txt 48 volt cart, factory lighting, rear seat, etc bone stock. it now has 5 year old Trojan batteries I plan to replace this winter.
Cart is used maybe a dozen times on camping trips. Otherwise sits in my garage.
Would it be worth $ wise to just replace the lead acid batteries or do a lithium conversion? Don’t plan to sell cart or modify with lift kit/larger tires, etc. just a campground cruiser when we go camping few times a year.
Thoughts
Thanks

Default Re: Battery desision

IMHO, if that is all you use it for (and that's not a bad thing) then if I were you I'd simply replace the Trojan's with new Trojans.

That's an easy switch....no "learning curve" for a lithium battery. And you get (if I read your post right) plenty of travel distance from the FA batt's.

It also appears that since your first set lasted 5 years, you do a good job of maintaining your flooded batts. Just swap 'em out.
