The place I just bought it at, Black Barn Golf Carts here in Ontario, wants me to bring the cart in.

He says it could be a maintenance or neglect issue on my part, or a power surge may have done something. He also says it could be the cart itself.

I did bring just the charger in to him a few weeks ago, but as luck would have it, it didn't make the sound when at his shop. At his suggestion, when I returned home, I took the cart out for a good spin and charged it right away, no sounds.

Now its been sitting in my garage 2 or 3 weeks now, so I plugged it in for a "maintenance charge" and this is it clicking again...

Do you charge it after every use? Have you checked pack voltage before connecting charger?

TTTime to check voltage?

Before plugging in charger, and after plugging in charger.

So would the dealer be correct in saying i should bring in both the cart and charger to diagnose?

I have no electrical diagnosing tools or knowledge thereof. I just assumed he should replace the charger, but he wants to check the cart too...sound right to you guys?

Thanks. Good to know.

The place is an hour away and winter weather has set in my area, so now at least I feel better about having to bring the cart in!
