Default Requiring Curtis 1206 without A2

I’m completely rewiring my 36 volt txt series and I can’t remember how it goes. All the Curtis wire diagrams have an A2 pole and mine only has B+, B-, & M. I could really use just a picture of a cart with wires to and from the forward and reverse, controller and motor please. Also don’t know where the red wire from the battery charge port on the golf cart goes. I have the ezgo technical manual but it doesn’t really put it all together.

This "tells" you how to connect with no A2.

EDIT: A2 directly to C.

Yes. The high amperage cables and labels are the same. All the wires and color are also the same, just controller pins 1 - 4 are different.

Interesting. You found another difference. C and A are wired differently on the two. I'll quit posting mine, as it's BAD to mix and match. There are several ways to wire them, that are electrically identical, but mix and match, NO.

Hopefully he saw that there were only two terminals with no cables connected.

I think you sent me the Alltrax diagram when I first starting working on my cart. Someone else sent this one to me, but it confused me because the A2 was missing. Once I started to get a handle on things I realized how everything worked and how to utilize the diagrams. I just thought it would be less complicated for the OP if he saw a diagram with a stock controller. Might be a little bit easier to follow.

But you pointed out something I never realized, so I'll never send Alltrax' out again. I looked at the others long enough to see how the cart worked outside the black box (blue now), but actually never noticed until this month that BOTH, the four controller pins, and the four cables go to different places. Equivalent electrically, but potentially disastrous if mixed with factory wiring diagrams.

Are you talking about the smaller pins/wires labeled 1 thru 4?
