Older RXV. How do I wire new solenoid?
Helping a friend out. His daughter uses it to get back and forth to school and activities.
It is the old style RXV. I have determined that the solenoid needs replaced. But all the new solenoids have extra posts. I looked up on ezgo website and they show a solenoid or a whole new harness with solenoid(614535) What do I need? How do I wire up new solenoid by itself? The old solenoid has 2 black wires coming out of the top. They look to be molded into the solenoid. I have not removed anything yet. Thanks for the help.  |

Cut the two black wires that go into the solenoid. Put ring terminals on them and attach one to each of the small terminals on the new 36 volt solenoid. Put the wires on the large terminals back the same way they come off the old solenoid. I would put a terminal on that yellow wire before I reinstalled it.

Buy the 36v solenoid 609428 it's would go with you Danaher controller that cart should have.
