It pays to shop for batteries
I moved to North Myrtle Beach a couple of years ago so this is the first time I've checked on battery prices in the area. Prices were $162- $298 for Trogan T1275. The $162 seemed like a deal to me, so thats the way I went. I was surprised at the difference in prices.

Re: It pays to shop for batteries
It pays to look at neighboring cities/towns as well. Heck, I'd drive an hour to save $100. Since mine were special order, they even delivered them to my house and took away the cores. Make sure you get a lifting "handle". They should throw one in for free. They aren't worth anything ($), but they make removal and installation so much easier.
Make sure all batteries are the same month/year, ideally the same month you buy them. |

Re: It pays to shop for batteries
I agree about traveling a little to save a lot. I drove about 30 miles. Its a shame they are so heavy. I saw several places on the net that charged more for shipping than the battery cost.
