Default Photo & vote

First photo attempt and a vote.

My origin theme was the smokey and the bandit trans am. Some may remember back to the seventies the cool dashes in those cars. So with a carbon fiber dash and rvinyl I tried to duplicate. Do you like it? Note: the steering wheel was selected red because the wifes high school colors were black and red. Me personally the red bring about some adrenaline when I look at it.

Second thing is if you think the small panel is enough. I want the middle and top right gold as well, but I'm getting out voted. Be honest, it's really just for fun. And yes I didn't reverse my cut out template for the center so I'm bad. But it's for the vote purpose. It should curl at the left, top and right. The top will run into part 3.

Lmk.

If the pictures work I'll add the bird picture from hood, seats, Trans Am, & 455 H.O. photos.

You need a third vote "to each their own".

That color scheme is most definitely not for me, but it's not my cart.

The important thing is that your having fun working on it!

I would need to see a photo of the whole cart to see what it looks like.

Ok I understand your comments.

But I was just having fun looking for opinions. So the best other choice is just what your wrote. Not your choice.

I think I do need a better photo to give a compare view.
Also I'm going slow to
1: enjoy the fun
2: not make a pos becuase of my reliving my youth
3: learning as I go

And I'm having a custom 3d printed shaker hood scoop made to fit inside the bird decal and come up towards the windshield. I design it in tinker cad. Simple

Got you. (PS Goldenrod yellow. just the 400, auto. Drove it on Daytona beach during spring break. Later thru the redwoods in CA.)

Should the silver be just the one panel, or whole dash?

Thanks

The gold is a product called rvinyl. It come in various colors, my need was gold. It is a product that is installed with adhesives. It is also used for cars, etc... it's pretty neat.

I agree. The red would be fine without the gold. Silver, chrome, grey or something like that with the red.

Or, the gold looks great without the red wheel. But, it's all in what you want and I'm not going to argue with your wife's school colors (I happen to like them just not with all that gold.) That's something for you to decide.

Yes. Thats what makes it hard. The carbon fiber dash is sweet without any color. And steering wheels come in all colors, so the gold theme could have been.... But "Glory "Days" and adrenaline are intoxicating.

My seats are going to be different because of the buckets, but same material. We bought this txt for our son's family. And the same company is willing to do my seats as well.
