Question Help with mounting speakers

Hi everyone!

First post asking for help here mounting some speakers on a 2009 RXV. I bought a set of motorbike speakers and a Bluetooth amp and they came with clamps for round handlebars. Ideally i want to mount the speakers onto the front frame but the clamps, being for round handlebars, won't fit!

I have searched amazon and google for something but am coming up blank for square clamps, there are plenty of light bar clamps but all are for round bars.

I thought about mounting it to the top of the dash but don't think it would be stable enough just bolted through the plastic

Any suggestions?

For reference the kit i bought was this one and it does sound really good so far - just need to mount it!

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks for any help / suggestions!

Toby

I have the same kit, I plan to just add some angle iron under the cowl and bolt the speakers to it. Too dang cold out to be pulling bodywork right now.

May be too late to turn back now but if you want to try something different, look at the speaker pods made by RHOX for the RXV. I just installed them this weekend with a Bluetooth head unit and 5.25” speakers. It was super easy and it all sounds fantastic.

Might be able to just wrap their clamp around your roof support depending on the size of it if you don't want to drill holes into your body. You could also try clamping a piece of tubing or pipe to your support and the clamp these to the pipe. It says they can be mounted on handle bars from .75" to 1.25".
