Default EZ-GO “hot” F/R Rocker Switch without key

I am in the process converting my 2004 EZ-GO TXT PDS from 36v to 48v. Over the weekend, I installed new batteries, new 2g cables, FSIP torque motor, 400A solenoid, and Altraxx XCT48500 controller. After getting everything setup, I now have a “hot” F/R switch. Meaning my cart will go forward or backwards with the F/R activated regardless of if the key is in the machine or not. The only way to turn in off is to put it in “tow” mode. Any ideas on what is causing this or how to fix it? Tried another switch and that gave me the same result.

Did the cart run with no problems, before you started converting your 2004 EZ-GO TXT PDS from 36v to 48v

It did before the motor burned up. Thats the reason for the conversation. A few of the folks on here convinced me that if I was going to upgrade the motor and controller, I should go ahead and upgrade to 48v as well since it was a lifted cart. I am new to this so still learning the ends and outs so to speak. In addition to the F/R with being hot, I have noticed that as soon as I flip the Tow/Run switch to Run, the solenoid clicks. Is that normal with the Alltrax controller?

Make sure you did not wire the new key switch to the wrong side.

I have double checked all the wire routing and everything is connected correctly according to the wiring diagrams...

I think some PDS will do that... meaning engage the solenoid with the key but, if you do not push the gas the solenoid will disengage after a few minutes. Then the solenoid will engage and disengage each time the pedal is depressed as normal

Is that what it is doing?

Right now i have the everything in the dash disconnected with the exception of the F/R rocker. When I switch from tow to run, the solenoid clicks on and then 10 second or so later clicks off. When I move the F/R rocker to run and push the gas, the solenoid clicks on as it should and the cart moves. All this with or without the key switch being on...

The key is bypassed?
How many wires on the solenoid (+) side?
Carefully trace and tell where each of these wires go to.

On the large post, I have the diode, battery positive cable, and the red wire from the harness. On the small post I have the diode and yellow wire from the harness.
