Default Marathon Reverse Buzzer

Recently purchased a 1990 EZ GO 1990 Marathon, runs good but has no reverse buzzer. Looked by the F/R switch where the buzzer should be located and "nothing". Were these models equipped with buzzers? I know where to get the part but would like to know were to connect the wires. Thanks.

Benny, YES they WERE equipped with one....and would be on the back side of the F&R

the Black wire goes to the B- side of the controller and the Red wire goes to the lower connection of the MS-2 micro-switch on the F&R (that's the one on the passenger or right side of the F&R if you are looking toward the front of the cart).

The picture posted is a TXT. The Marathon did have a beeper somewhere around the F&R / solenoid area. You can mount one anywhere the wires reach.
The Marathon would need to have the reverse dual micro switch. One micro switch would get power off the "forward micro switch" and this would feed the reverse beeper which would have a constant source of battery - . The other micro switch connects to the reduced reverse speed wires.
I hope this helps.
