Default Question, need some direction please

I have a question for those of you more familiar with these than myself. I have been looking at buying a Fluke meter so I can check voltages, amps, etc. I have been looking into going with a lithium set up and want to buy the correct tool that can be used to measure this and whatever else I need to check. Can anyone tell me what they use and or recomend? I would prefer not to spend that much money of one of these and it not be the right tool for what I need.

I’ve got a under $100 in TPI 185 Digital Multimeter. It’s over 10 years old now, and has served me very well. I don’t know what they cost today.

Quick google search seems to indicate they’re still available.

You just need a good and accurate digital volt meter to work on your cart. I have a Klein that I bought at Home Depot for less than $40 that works great. Fluke is a top of the line tool and you will definitely pay for it/ It may be a bit more accurate than the Klein, but its not necessary.

I have a couple of Fluke as well as the free bees from Harbor Freight. They all work. Just make sure the battery in the tester is good.
