Check the solenoid and is good, but no clicking when trying to engage.
Where should we go from here? Thanks, roy |

I would start with the accelerator. Under the floor mat there's a grey box. Inside you'll find the ITS (inductive throttle) and a microswitch. The microswitch is the first thing I'd check if there's no solenoid click.

Re: 1994 Ez go 36 volt cart
I'm guessing you have a series, but please confirm:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...en-system.html The following is for a series: Do you have a handheld VOM, DVM, or DMM and know how to use it? If so, place negative probe on pack negative and check the white wire coming from the charger port, attached to a red wire. This is the reed switch, and will prevent the solenoid from clicking. Using the attached, move from reed switch to MS2 (microswitch on back of FNR), to key switch, to MS3 (throttle microswitch). |

Re: 1994 Ez go 36 volt cart
Thanks! Whoever had our cart before us cut that wire and ran it from the micro switch directly to the positive side of the first battery. Is that another form of bypassing the reed switch?
