Got a pic of the motor label General Electric 5330 RPM.....6.1 H.P Hard to take a pic under there....Is this motor original to the cart? Did EZGO use these G.E configurations? would mean motor is almost 20 years old...

I ordered the sr 48400 with the 400 solenoid from Scotty today..i will receive it tomorrow....I took the junk controller off and marked the cables...I was looking at one of the diagrams and it said cut the ring terminal off the small wire from the B-that goes to solenoid....Easy....I have 3 remaining 16gauge wires ....One from the controller went to a contact that seems to work with the throttle linkage where is that terminated on the new controller? (it is blue ring terminal and im sure it's not oem)....the last 2 are 16 gauge wires ( they look like speaker wire in grey shealth ) are a pair and it seems to come from behind the throttle linkage ( they are black and white and may be oem) i do not know where they will terminate....I wont bother you guys anymore ( i hope) thanks, jeff

Well after a few hiccups i have the cart moving and the status light is giving me the code "High Throttle Under Range"...( 2 greens and 4 reds)...I ordered the controller for Ezgo Medalist & Txt 36 volt....This is very frustrating, i have been reading everything i can...Will i have to hook up controller to laptop to remedy this fault or does the controller have to be taken off? thanks...Happy holidays to everyone...

Hook up laptop and Clear Auto-Cal. Might work?

I haven't had a lot of time to play with mine. I did have to clear Auto-Cal a few times, as a result of moving wires with controller powered up.

Thanks Yurtle....I downloaded a large thread about programming a TXT 36 volt alltrax....I gave it to my next door neighbor who is quite the computer person...In about 15 mins we were ready to test...I noticed right away there was no sudden jerk in reverse..He got down to the street and took off...I saw no jerking but on the way back he said he was going top speed and he needed to do more tweaking....He was riding up and down the street with laptop beside him and presto we were going for a speed test ride...We did 22 mph and i was sure i could do 24 alone....The cart rides nice, it may have more power up the wash but it really wasn't eye popping improvement, maybe later i will notice added bonuses...I am glad i am back "on the road" again...I was getting a little blue thinking this old wagon wont ever perform again...I wish i could tell you what changes he made to the program but i didn;t wanna talk and look over his shoulder....I am grateful for all the helpful words i have read on this thread and all the other threads i looked up...It's a great little group and great pastime...thanks to everyone...Jeff ( next project a heavy duty F/R switch )

Did it hit 100% throttle with the go pedal to the floor. That's the main thing, plus no errors. I haven't really played with any of the settings, as I'm fine with it as is.
