Well, this might explain something. I have error flags,

Hight throttle input underrange and low throttle input underrange.

And shutdown is selected.

My gauges also says, throttle 100%.

What am I looking for now?

1. The LED flashes the throttle type code when XCT is connected to a laptop (or desktop). Four green flashes means the XCT is set to an EZGO ITS type throttle.

2. To the best of my knowledge, a wattage rating does not exist anywhere on any of the Toolkit screens. There is a Voltage rating of 48V indicating the max battery pack voltage, but rest assured, it works with a 36V battery pack.

3. We have already established the XCT is not being powered up by the cart's battery pack, so not having proper voltage in the throttle circuit is to be
expected.

4. The voltage range for the EZGO ITS type throttle powered by an Alltrax controller is 10V pedal up and 6V pedal down and if the throttle voltage is less than 6V (as indicated by the Low Throttle Under Range flag), the throttle readout will be 100%.

------------
With everything set as if you were going to drive the cart forward, what are the status of the following on the Toolkit Monitor screen??????????????

A. Charger Plugged In:
B. Keyswitch Input:
C. Footswitch Input:
D. Forward Switch Input:

You scared me for a moment. TI=bad, HP=engineer. Kinda like apple vs. PC.

For those still following at home. i called altrax and went through some diagnosing. The first issue was the red wire that goes to the positive the connection failed. I replaced the connector and that was resolved. But the controller still did not fire up. Then I did a continuity test with 4 steps, and it failed step 3. Ron ( I also worked with Will, both great) explained that something may have caused a surge and the weakest point of the board failed. He recommended I place a fuse between the white wire from the charge receptacle, a 10amp fuse to make that the week point and protect the controller.

Either way, it is covered under warranty and I will ship to them.

Thanks everyone for all your help.

So I got the replacement controller under warranty from alltrax. Installed it as well as the fn2. The cart is significantly more responsive than on the DCX. The regen really kicks in and acceleration is vastly improved. No rush at all, but when pack is "gone" I'll replace with 48v and get a new charger. That said, I replaced the controller, tow run switch, solenoid, key switch, f&r, ITS and microswitch. SHOULD be good now.

Thanks everyone for all your support and patience.
