slow/poor motor engagement
hello. have a 2003 TXT 36v. having trouble with drive engagement. when pressing the accelerator there is no drive until about half way down then it lurches forward or reverse. there is a buzzing noise though from the electric motor before its starts to move. is there any relays or solenoids in the motor that may cause this noise or may the reason for the poor engagement? perhaps bad brushes? once it is moving it is ok you can slow down and speed up. but once it is at a stop you cant gradually start again, you have to push the pedal to the floor. will cut out when hot at slower speeds if under load, once it rests for a few minutes it will go again. maybe a controller fault? pedal box fault? not sure where to start

Re: slow/poor motor engagement
I'm guessing motor problem, likely brushes, but you are damaging it when you are driving it.
