Need Help EZGO will not GO
Cart ran just fine yesterday. Today it will not go forward or reverse. It is charged up. What would be the simplest, most likely cause, the simplest first thing to check. Please make it simple. Thanks in advance.

First thing I'd check is all your battery connections. Make sure they are clean & tight.

Can also check the reed switch, connections behind the key switch and the f/r switch. Hopefully it’s one of those. I had the exact same issue and ended up ordering a new controller that I’ll be installing this weekend.

Check all your wires / cables. Only takes one.
Do a quick visual under the seat and then go to the key switch. |

Lift the seat and listen carefully when you try to go. Does the solenoid make a click noise?

Re: Need Help EZGO will not GO
Thanks guys for all the comments. I did everything you all said to do. ..and yes the solenoid does click when pedal is engaged. Battery pack is fully charged and all battery posts are clean and connections are tight. I wiggled several cables from controller to motor, motor to f & r switch.
Good News is the Cart is moving forward and reverse! Bad News is I don’t know what I did to fix it! Thanks again! I can always depend on you guys to get me out of a bind! |
