Default series ez go

Has been covered before i Know, but I still need help
I have a 2003 36 volt with good and charged batteries. Series type.
It runs fine in Forward but not in reverse.
solenoid Clicks in either forward or reverse.

Question what voltage should I be getting on each one of the terminal on rear of of F and R switch (ABCD) when it's not running in reverse ? And is there any
thing that will cause it not to run in reverse, other than the contacts on F and R
switch.

Thanks for your Help.

Burnt contacts in the F&R are a common cause of the series NO GO situation.
Check this way. All of the 4 lugs should have power in F or in R. Just check them and see if one is not showing any power then that contact is bad, replace the switch.

If I take all wires off the F and R switch, and tie A to D and B to C will this bypass the F and R ???? Then take A to B and C to D to reverse voltage to motor..
Hope someone understands what i'm trying to ask.

Thanks

Yes you can do this but if it goes fine in forward based on what you are describing it will go fine in reverse. The controller just knows go. The switch defines what direction.

I have my old fwd/rev switch that I'm not doing anything with. If you want, just pay the shipping and you can have it. I'm accumulating way too much stuff.
