Default 92 ezgo marathon

I had to replace my axe 4844 controller with another 4844 controller. So I went ahead and replaced solenoid diode and resistor but now the cart barely moves. Almost like batteries are dead but they are fully charged. Every thing I replaced is the same could it be I need to program this controller. Any help is appreciated

Eliminate the four wire Molex connector that connects the throttle box ITS and microswitch to the wiring harness, usually located between controller and FNR. Solder or butt splice. Bad connection to the ITS could cause problems. If this doesn't correct it, hook up a laptop and see if the throttle goes to 100%.

Try connecting a volt meter to the battery pack and let us know the at rest voltage, and what the voltage drops to when you try to go.

At rest it started at 38 volts . With accelerator pushed it dropped to 21.7. Tested at rest again could only register 36 volts

One or more batteries are bad. Try the same test, but for each battery. Hopefully you'll find just one bad battery, and can replace it with a used battery if yours are old. If new enough, could be warranty.

I have a 3 battery 12 volt set up. 2 batteries show 12.8 volt . 1 battery shows 11.6 volts.

Sorry I wasn't specific. Try each battery under load. I suspect the one dead one will drop really low under load. What is the date stamp on each battery? They are all really low.
