Default 99 txt series cart not running

Brand new batteries

No click and no go.

I have a charger that I know works. When I plug into this cart it hums but shows no amps.

I’m thinking this charger no amps and cart not running has to be related.

Any suggestions?

If the solenoid isn’t clicking, you’ve gotta start with the activation circuit, which is the small wires.

Do you have a dmm? You’re going to need one.
What is the pack voltage?
Are you seeing pack voltage at the charge port?

Voltage is 37.2

I have power at key

I do not have power on small red wires on solenoid.

If I run a jumper wire from battery positive to small post with red wires it runs.

Does this mean issue is in pedal micro switch.

If you’ve got pack voltage out of the key switch, then it sounds like you may have found your issue. Pull up the mat and check it out.

From Pack positive, you have the reed switch, which you should bypass, MS2, KSI, and MS3. All must function in order to activate solenoid. Connect black DMM probe to pack negative and check the reed switch wire for pack positive. Then follow it to MS2 on the FNR, KSI key switch, then you can check MS3 throttle microswitch at the four wire Molex, which you should eliminate.

I assume you have a wiring diagram?

How would I eliminate ms3

Which wire? In or out? With reed switch bypassed or closed = charger unplugged, FNR in gear MS2 = closed, key switch on KSI = closed, you should have pack positive at MS3 green. MS3 red will have pack positive when MS3 is closed pedal pressed. If all is true, your red wire is the problem. Could be Molex.
