RXV elektric from 2009 runs only slow motion anymore

On my 2009 elektric RXV all over sudden it ran only in slow motion anymore.
The Batteries are quite new and show 52 volts.
The key switch acts normal in all its position. Rear position it makes the buzzing sound anf if I accelerate it runs back ... but slow motion.
Forward position same without buzzer.
The solenoid clicks normal.
The brake akts normal. Engaging the brake disengages the accelerator.
Measering the voltage by giving accelerator it goes to 50 volts so it does not look like a big effort on the motor.
Putting it into tow mode and into neutral, the tires move without any unnormal resistance. So the gear differential is not blocked or heavy to turn.
I’m out of moves. No idea anymore what to do. So please if someone has had this kind of issue help.

It sounds to me like the motor speed encoder has failed, or a bad connection where it plugs into the wiring harness. In 2009, the RXV used a motor bearing encoder for the speed sensor. Also in 2009, RXV wiring harnesses suffered a lot from corrosion issues that caused errors.

How about the same symptoms on a 2011? Same thing, same issue? Is that a serviceable item, or does the entire motor need replaced. (One thing I heard from a dealer.)

In a 2011 it's probably the Speed Sensor. Very easy to change.

And cheaper than new motor parts and labor. Plus, the dealer could replace sensor and have a high value used motor. Win-win.

I looked into RXV speed sensor, and one place said they were used on 2012.5 and up, and the other said 2008 and up. Can you confirm? I'm not in a place to look at my cart at the moment.

The only thing I can tell you is my 2011 RXV has a Speed Sensor (Encoder). The first series of RXV had Bearing Encoders.
