Can you open it up and flush it with distilled water? Was it flooded in salt water? How long did it remain under water? I've resuscitated lots of things that were under water. Almost everything worked fine, as long as I flushed and dried it before powering it up. My parents dropped a phone in a salt water river. They had to wait for low tide to get it. Flushed and dried, and it worked just fine.

I don't use tap water, as it has chlorine, fluoride, and depending on the dissolved solids, phosphate.

The 12v side does not work but i opened it up and it was corroded where the 12v was but the rest looked fine. It charges the batteries but it feels like the charger gets pretty hot ?

For stubborn corrosion, I hit it with a toothbrush. Is there maybe a fuse on the 12 volt side? Do you need 12 volts, or does it have a reducer?

If it has cooling fins on the body, it will get hot. Do you have or can you borrow an IR temperature gun? It may be fine.

If you have or install a real digital volt meter, you should be able to tell if it's working when youi plug it in, and before driving.

Yurtle, The QuiQ DCI charger has an internal DC converter. It is the source of 12v power for the carts lights and accessories.

Jody, Those chargers all run hot when crammed into that little spot. On a hot day here, they will go into thermal cutback (reduced output due to high charger temp). I suggest all 2five owners prop the seat bottom up while charging, it does help the charger run cooler. The charger isn't too hard to change, but don't get it from ezgo (they want around $1000). Try our site sponsors first, and if they can't get it, fullriver battery in California (authorized DeltaQ distributor) can.
