Help with Elect. EZGO!
hi guys great forum
bought a 1997 ezgo- awesome shape at an auction the cart's not here- i gave it as a gift. recipient unloaded it from the trailer, and it immediately took a dump of some kind. there is no serial number plate, its missing. stickers say both 100 model AND PDS reverse/forward switch is by drivers right knee - is this a series cart or pds cart? i read somewhere that pds carts have the switch on the dash? This cart worked perfect for 2 days, loaded it and unloaded it for the second time and a tie rod came off when it came down the ramps. (its lifted), its new owner put the tie rod back on, but now the cart is dead. hes's checked the tow-maint/and run switch, and fwd/rev switch for correct positions, thats about it. any ideas? i've downloaded some diagrams, but not 100% sure if this is a series or pds cart. was told its a 1997, and that appears to be correct, but with the serial # plate missing its hard to tell. is there another place the serial shows up? thanks for aNY HELP eric temecula |

1997 and PDS????
I don't think PDS system came out until 1999. Early PDS models did have FNR lever by leg. |

Re: Help with Elect. EZGO!
hey PG. I was told it was a 1997. if thats true that pds came out in 1999, and early pds carts had the f/r lever under the seat, then this is probably a 1999 machine. its been blazing hot, when it cools down, we'll start troubleshooting.
I'll post some pictures when i get a chance. |
