2005 TXT Series with HD FNR- No Reverse

Just got an 36v EZGO TXT Series cart that already has 22" tires, lift and rear seat. Also it has been upgraded to the HD FNR toggle system using two White Rodgers 586-317111 Solenoids and the toggle switch. I just installed new batteries and 4 gauge cables. Forward works fine, but no Reverse. I can hear Solenoids clicking in all three switch positions.
Any idea how to narrow down the problem or know were I can find a diagram of this type of FNR system?

Carts Unlimited has the best info on the internet for reversing contractors & EZGO troubleshooting. Great Diagrams, Check them out, however It sound like one of the solenoids is not engaging, bad signal, wire, etc.
I have seen them White Rogers not last a year, especially those mounted on their side

I had a friend look at it and said that it is a solenoid. You would think these HD solenoids would last, but who knows what the prior owner did with it. I have one on order. If they go out again, I will change over to the other style.

Update, I replaced the bad solenoid and now have reverse. Drove it a day or two then forward quit. I have to get away from these White Rodgers solenoids and get something more heavy duty. Sucks cause I just bought a new solenoid and have the switch already done up. I'd hate to have to buy a whole new kit and start over.

I’d check with Scotty about his f/r contactor working with your current switch. I think that’s all his contactor in effect is, right? Just a couple of solenoids. Either way, the install of it isn’t bad at all.

Yeah, I have to do something. The wife and kids love riding this buggy around the neighborhood and down town. I sent ScottyB an email to get his thoughts on what I should do. I sure can't afford to replace every component with heavy duty stuff right now. But on the other hand, they say buy once cry once.
