New Alltrax controller
Hello again, still trying to get this cart figured out, I got a new 400 amp solenoid and a new Alltrax XCT 400 controller coming tomorrow, my question is do I use the resistor that comes with the solenoid, or the diode that comes with the controller to go on the larger studs of the solenoid—- sorry if this is a no brainer question, I just don’t want any more problems. The cart in a 2008 EZGO 36v PDS. Thanks

Re: New Alltrax controller
Well I received the new controller, but there aren’t any diodes included with it, so I don’t know if I use the one I received with the solenoid or have to order the 6A Regen diode ?——Thanks for any help in clearing this up

Re: New Alltrax controller
I was very impressed with the Alltrax technical support when shopping for a replacement controller.
Give them a call if you have any questions or concerns during your install. |

Re: New Alltrax controller
The required 6 amps "Regen" diode is the only device on the Solenoid big posts (no resistor) with the cathode (striped end) towards the pack positive battery .
Did Your Solenoid come with a 6 amp diode or just the smaller 3 amp for the coil terminals? |
