well I was in the same boat you are in. I wish I had written down the number on the shocks, and since then every thing has been painted over, HOWEVER....someone here had posted this up and I saved it to find the shocks to buy and use. it took a little time going through the list, but I was able to go down to the local auto parts store and buy my shocks....if they are in stock.

attached here is the MONROE Shock/Strut manual. it lists all their shocks and their specs (by length, collapsed and extended). The shocks are listed first.

FIRST you go to page 82 where the mounting types are listed. our carts shocks should have shocks that have a threaded rod on each end. measure the length of yours so that you know the number you are looking for (ex. S1, S2, S3, etc...) then measure the length of your shock both collapsed and extended. NOW go back to the listing and start going down the list until you find the ones that have the right ends and lengths….and on the left hand side is the p/n of the shock that will work.

Thanks for the help. After much digging I think the monroe 31069 is what everyone is using. I ordered from Amazon and with prime will be here before I leave. I am crossing my fingers!
