Default 08 RXV sometimes wont go good voltage

Most of the time its fine but once in a while it wont move , toggling the key switch gets it to move , now the other day it just stopped , couldn't get it to move , tried a different key and it took off , by the way Brand new trojans in it voltage is great , Are the keys chipped ?is the key switch a common problem with these ?

Had the same problem with my 2009 RXV that I just purchased...found I was moving the FNR switch too fast...now I put to N..wait ..hear the clunk then GENTLY put it to F...no problem as long as you push the pedal slowly
also I found I had a intermittent faulty pedal switch.which I had to replace..now all OK

The keys are absolutely NOT chipped, any standard txt key would work just as well. And no, keyswitch failures are not common, I have seen probably one ever failed. I totally agree with the idea of "feet OFF the pedals, switch to N, wait for 'clunk', go to desired direction, then One foot on pedals". Usually, that error can be solved by just condensing that last part to "feet off pedals, turn key to desired direction, wait for 'clunk', then one foot on pedals". Rxv will error if either pedal is pressed at all when key is turned on (including the beloved floor mat pressing the pedal). Also, Rxv defaults to "we ain't doing nothing but stop" whenever both pedals are pressed at same time.
