EZ-GO TXT power cut outs
This issue is somewhat "interesting"....or a PITA, and I thought I had it figured out and fixed.
When I accelerate, flat or up hill, the power will cut-out, then cut back in. No one given throttle position (but I usually run with peddle at half or less) but it will just do this. Now, I thought I had this fixed as the last time it just quit. I put it up on jack stands, hit the go peddle and checked wires (not cables) for being loose. I found a LV relay connection where the male\female connection was not tight enough. Now, it's wet as all get out but I'm not driving thru puddles to the "splash" point. And I dunno if the ITS could be at issue. I haven't yet did a by-pass of the LV relay to determine if that relay is the culprit. But it's going to happen when the rain let's up. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I will attempt to see if the solenoid is cutting out as well. Thanks. |

Re: EZ-GO TXT power cut outs
Update: I did my LV relay by-pass and the cart worked fine. Then I put the wires back on the LV relay......and it worked fine.
I'm going to re-check my wire connections for the LV. I think I'll solder them in addition to the crimp. |
