Does total charger 111 stop humming when batteries are fully charged?

The TC-III hums as long as AC power is applied to the transformer's primary and inside the charger is a relay that is supposed to disconnect the AC power from the transformer primary when the battery pack's on-charge voltage reaches 45V +/-1V.
All that the humming stopping says is that the battery pack's on-charge voltage has reached 45V +/-1V, whether the battery pack is fully charged or not is unknown. To determine the battery pack's SoC (State of Charge), measure the voltage about 12 hours after the charger stops humming and look it up on the attached chart. |
