Post 2009 RXV refurbishing help

Good evening, I recently bought a 48 volt 2009 ezgo RXV cart that didnt have batteries so I couldnt test drive it but got it for a steal of a price $500 to be exact and the person I went with said it looks like a good buy with the condition it was in. Well i purchased new batteries hoping that's all I needed but that wasnt the case. Purchased the jumper that goes under the cup holder since it was missing still not the case, purchased the charging harness cuz it had some exposed wires and still not even a beep or any movement when I turn the key.

I believe the last thing I could check would be the solenoid, controller, or motor. I believe the solenoid is good since its passing the voltage when the key is turned on. Would mind buying another one since they are not that expensive. When I put my meter on the cables going to the motor from the controller it read 48 volts so I'm not sure if it is the controller.

Is there anything else I can check that I am missing or anyway to troubleshoot the controller or the motor to make sure they are working. I mean this cart has no movement or noise when the key is turn and the gas or brake is pressed down. Dont want to give up on it since I like solving problems but it's getting to that point.

The motor is AC, so just looking for voltage is not of much use. You really need someone with a Danaher handset to run diagnostics. I have a handset and a spare controller, but you are far away from my location.

Okay I seen there where a way to check the motor to make sure it still spins under voltage on some YouTube video.

That is for DC motors. Vehicular AC motors require 3 sets of magnetic fields, rotated around the motor stator by the controller. The faster the 3 fields rotate, the faster the motor spins. DC applied to the motor leads will not spin the motor. It'll lock it in place, like a brake.

The answer is no.

If you have a general question ask it here. If your wanting a controller reprogrammed pm me and I'll see that Bob gets it.

When Bob's pm box gets full it stays that way for awhile. I help him out when this happens. If you ask a question here in the forum he can answer that way.
