Default New to me cart,

So I just picked up a 2013 ezgo 48volt from my sister, and as i was replacing a wire on the batter one of the ended of another wire came right off ( a lot of corrosion ), well this cable goes to the charger, but i am not sure if i can just put a new end on it because of this gray box on the end of it, which i would have to cut off to put a new end on. my question is, can i just remove it and add the end and be good, or do i need to replacing it.

The gray cable senses battery temperature. If the corrosion on the ring terminal didn't wipe out the sensor, just duct-tape it to one of the batteries.

If I remember correctly there is two wires inside the sleeve. Ezgo does not sell the temp sensor separately. It's part of that harness. And yes it's about $140

If the actual sensor part is still functioning (IE: the charger will still charge batteries), you can.

Try the function of the charger first and if it works run with it. If not that sensor can be replaced or bypassed.

This is what the charger is showing, and on the cart, where the charger plugs into, there is a green light that is blinking.

Looks like its charging. If you have volt meter check battery back should be something around 52 volts while charger charging... good luck
