Accusense charger issues I think.
48v ezgo batteries 1.5 year old charger also. Volt meter from scotty b installed.
What I remember is when charger would be plugged in the meter would read a higher number than the pack and the ampres meter would move. Now it does not and voltage stays same as pack. 48.1. Something seems off as the other night had the wife's cart fully charging for over 16hrs, after a short ride went it was dying faster than normal. Like almost dead. Am I correct the voltage when charging should read what the charger is putting out.? |

Charger is definetlly not charging battery pack.
Voltage should increase to 58-60 volts when charging. Post type , makes of charger and if onboard or not. |

Also. When I got home just now the power and detection lights were flashing fast red. Indicating Excessive Charging Time

Might want to use hydrometer to check battery’s cells.
Bad cell will keep battery from taking charge also. |

Re: Accusense charger issues I think.
I don't think we need the hydrometer test, we already know the nunbers will look abnormal (since we know the batteries aren't charged). The "ammeter goes to 5a, but never above" leads me to believe that the charger board is bad.

Re: Accusense charger issues I think.
Try another electrical outlet as well. Mine was acting up over the winter and only pushing about 5 amps for an hour or so and then shutting off and showing charged but volt meter on cart never went above 50.2 volts. I opened a thread and someone replied to try another electrical outlet. At first I ignored that thinking it must be a defective charger so I made some calls. In the meantime I had to rearrange the garage so I moved the charger to another outlet and Shazam! It starting working perfectly again. To be sure I went back and tried the other outlet again and it started acting weird again. Its worth a shot....
