Make sure you spliced into the correct wire with the white wire from the adapter harness. You have to splice into the light colored wire that goes to the motor brake. It can be white or gray but all of them I have seen are white. At least a couple of people on this forum have spliced into the wrong wire. There is more than one white wire in the harness so you have to trace it back to the motor brake.

There are a lot of things left out here.

Was your cart running before you did the conversion?
What model of Curtis controller did you use 1206AC-52??
What voltage of solenoid did you use?

I remember the controllers you speak of, there were 2 of them. One was in good condition, with few errors, and reprogramming went well. The other however had dried out silicon seals around every contact post on the controller. This allowed salt air to get into the controller. I told your cousin that controller had possible corrosion issues inside, as it had a large list of errors, not all of which could be cleared. The primary error that would not clear was related to the buzzer circuit, which had been cut. I believe your cousin said that the buzzer wires had been cut on both carts, and that he fixed his prior to powering it up. There is nothing that I can do to repair a controller damaged in that way other than bypassing the buzzer check during the power up self test, which I had to do. Your issue is due to a defective controller, caused by cut buzzer wires at some point, and possible corrosion internally. I can only work with what I was sent. I'm not a miracle worker that can revive the dead.

You may not have done anything wrong. I don't know. I'm just telling you that the controller was already damaged when it was sent to me. Someone had cut the buzzer wire and operated it that way on the cart that controller came from. Where did you buy that controller from?

Bob
