1995 Medalist flanged bearing replacement
Has anyone changed the flanged bearing for the steering on a medalist/txt?
https://ezgolfcart.com/i-2743981-fla...-steering.html This is the part. Does this item usually wear? I have play in that area and it looks like that bearing will need to be pressed out and a new one pressed in. Is it possible that the nut just needs to be tightened more? Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

Well, since I hadn't gotten an answer yet, I decided to make a tool so I can press the bearing out and back in while the steering box was still in the cart. First pic is to press it out and the second pic is for pressing it back in. I'll let you guys know how it works and if it fixes the sloppiness in my steering.
