Weird 2013 RXV Issue

One of my neighbors has a non lifted 2013 RXV that has been stopping on them occasionally, then they could turn it off and back on and it would work. Now it won't move and sounds the reverse buzzer in Reverse, Forward and Neutral. If you flip the run tow and put it in neutral, it will roll. Also if the run tow is in tow, it will sound the reverse buzzer in reverse and Forward, but beep every 4-5 seconds when the key switch is in neutral.

I checked to make sure both pedals were returning all the way back and they were. It seems to go through the power on self test with all of the appropriate click and no jerking. I told them we would probably have to get the dealer to take a look with the handheld, but thought I would check here first. Battery voltage was 52.9 volts this morning and each battery measures within .02 volts of each other.

Do the brake lights stay on whenever the key is on, if so, it's telling you of motor brake problems.

Doesn't have brake lights.

sounds like a motor brake problem to me.

So the brake can cause the buzzer issue?

Update:. It was a bad key switch causing the issue.
