Default EZ NO GO at the moment whats the problem?

I have an Ezgo Pds cart that I am working on upgrading. I run 22" tires and a lift. I recently changed the motor, controller, solenoid, batteries, micro switch, all cables including f1 and f2 wires. I installed an Alltrax 500 amp controller, heavy duty solenoid, 8v trojan T-875 batteries, 2 gauge cables, 6 gauge on F1 and F2, after switching I am receiving the error on my controller for short circuit/output fault. The cart had some problems before I made the changes and I notice that one of the pins on the 10 pin plug is burnt, am attaching picture, it is the top left plug if are looking at it with the tab down top right on the controller. The controller is fine, brand new no sign of anything burnt. When you turn the cart on with the switch in neutral the controller comes on and shows the light that means everything is funcioning properly when you put it in Forward or Reverse the solenoid clicks and you get the code. After a few seconds the solenoid clicks again over and over. My question is what is the best course of action.
1. Replace the 10 pin plug and see what happens.
2. Go to the source of the wire, which I believe is the F/R switch and replace that, all the wires, connectors and the 10 pin plug.
3.Run some test to check the F/R switch

Pedal switch is totally ruined, due to mis-adjustment of the plunger.

That’s not right... it should be set so the moving part holds the switch down while the pedal is up. As soon as you press the pedal, the microswitch should release.

The moving part should NOT go far enough back to fall off the back of the switch roller. That’s what usually causes them to get crushed.

That pedal switch in the picture is brand new. It was set up exactly how the old one was prior to being replaced. Does anyone have any pictures of how it should look? And as for the burned connector that goes to the F/ R switch could that be from the micro switch?

I see what you are saying about the micro switch. I will order a new one. Attached is how i adjusted the pedal. It touches the wheel on the switch when the pedal is up. I guess Ill order a new switch, replace the burned pin and test it out.
