Sourcing old parts for 89 Marathon
I cannot for the life of me find the Drivers side rear fender cap. I can find the passenger side but not the drivers. Any ideas here guys? Also looking for a front nose with headlights cutouts? Thank you

Is this what you are looking for?
Check the site sponsors 1st. If you still can't find the item and when you have enough post you can PM me. |

The front cowl is way harder to find.
In my rebuild thread I show a video of the new switch and head light unit testing. |

Re: Sourcing old parts for 89 Marathon
One piece of advise I will give you is to call and ask if they have the part in stock. Everyone seems to drop ship from nivel. I ordered 3 of 4 parts only to find out their website shouldn't have sold me the item because there wasn't any stock. I had a few to many $$ tied up for longer than I should have.

Re: Sourcing old parts for 89 Marathon
I'm looking for the same part myself. My passenger one is pretty bad, and I can replace it for +/- $50. I was wanting to replace them both so they would match, but it seems like the drivers ones are out of stock in every site I've checked - other than an OEM pair for over $200 each. Might see how far I can get fixing the passenger one with a heat gun and rattle can both of them and keep an eye out for a new drivers one.

Re: Sourcing old parts for 89 Marathon
Well I lucked out big time. Was an hour from home and passed a large golf cart place. Stopped in. OF course they said yea no chance of getting them new and even the passenger ones you can get fit like crap. The old guy said bring him out to the junk yard. Hundreds of golfcarts in 4 foot weeds. Right in the marathon area with 4 and 3 wheelers was two nice sets of rear fender caps. There is also a front clip with headlights I may swing back and get. Its got a decent crack in it but it looks like a good piece to put some work into if new ones are so hard to find. They also said if I bought a set of batteries they would trade me my 36 volt charger for a 48 volt charger. Awesome pit stop today!
