solenoid/controller compatibility?
Will this work?
I just picked up a SR-48400 and was curious if I am able to use my current solenoid with it...27855g01 I cant find the amp rating on the solenoid to know if it will work or do I need a new solenoid...I just bought the one thats on there. any help or suggestions are appreciated. thanks |

Thee stock solenoid appears to be a White-Rodgers 70 series with a 36V coil which has a 50A inrush rating for the N.O. contacts, while the SR48400 has a peak throughput of 460A, so a wee bit bigger solenoid is called for. 200A at least.

JB is right, Alltrax says you can run the SR48300 with a stock solenoid but not the bigger ones.
