2 wire ignition switch question
Rewiring my new used 93 ezgo txt 36v series cart. The person who had it before me had wires all over. Some hooked up, some loose about the cart, so I'm redoing everything, neat and clean.
There are green and blue wires that come out of the dash. The green splits between the battery meter and one of the two ignition connections. The blue wire is not hooked up to anything. The other switch connector (2 of 2) is an aftermarket red wire that goes directly to battery positive. Question is where does the blue wire connect to? Thanks Chris |

Share a picture of your controller so that they can know what drive system your cart has

Re: 2 wire ignition switch question
I was thinking the blue and green went to the ign switch but it seems every system was different

Should be simple enough though. Pack voltage to key switch. Then switched side going to FNR for the activation circuit and one splitting off to the meter. |

Re: 2 wire ignition switch question
Blue wires are for factory lights, but not sure if you have the key switch with lights terminals.

Re: 2 wire ignition switch question
I think I’d start by tracing the other end of that wire loom and find out exactly what those two wires were connected to... assumptions can cause expensive problems when the wiring has been so extensively ‘modified’ as it clearly has been there

Re: 2 wire ignition switch question
A ‘93 TXT shouldn’t exist. What’s the MFG code?
