Cart was working before battery exchange,, charged batteries and reference voltage is 37.8 volts.
I have been using the EZGO troubleshooting guide. it has a Curtis 1206MX controller. I have zero v at key switch, rocker direction switch & buzzer. B- to controller side of solenoid37.8, B- to battery side of solenoid 36.7v. Pedal box test was clicking at pedal but no solenoid click. Voltage beteen Controller B- to Controller B+ 36.7. No volts at J1 termanals. I have checked rechecked all wiring and switches with contnuity test and they are good. rechecked wiring per diagram and color matchs diagram. I suspect controller is bad but need a sure fire test to be sure if anyone have suggestions |

Re: Aggie70
That voltage is low for new fully charged batteries.
What cart do you have? Year, model etc. |

Agreed batteries are not fully charged.
Hard to trouble shoot without know year, model, ect. As Mooncarter asked. What are you decide batteries were problem before changing them out? Give us some history on cart. 😊 |

Re: Aggie70
sounds like an Ezgo PDS from the controller type 1206mx.
you should have pack voltage at J1 pin 1 should be an orange/red wire, if its not present the controller will not power up. if not, check and see if you have pack voltage on J1 pin 4 it should have a red/white wire going to it. if there is no voltage present, you will need to check the charger interlock. The red/white wire plugs into the charger port and this should have pack voltage when no charger is plugged in. hope this helps. Phil |

Re: Aggie70
with power on J1 pin 4 your charger interlock is ok. with no voltage on J1 pin 1, next step is to check for voltage at the run tow switch. on J3 pin 3 check red/white wire for pack voltage. with the carts run/tow in run position. you should have pack voltage on pin 4 orange/red wire. if there is no voltage present you most likely have a bad run/tow switch or loose wire on run/tow switch or the pins in the 4 pin connector maybe damaged.
