How can I disconnect reverse buzzer?
I use my TXT to hunt. I do not want my reverse buzzer to announce my presence. I'm a know-little newbie and don't know where to start to disable the buzzer. Help, please.

Shufigo….first off....what year and drive system is your cart?
if its an RVX...I'm not sure you can, some of the other guys will have to help with that. if its a SERIES drive the buzzer is on the back side of the F&R switch....and all you need to do is unplug one side of it. if its a PDS drive system its in the dash, and that one too, you can just disconnect one side of it. |

All I know for sure is that it's about 10 years old. where are the ID numbers? I'm going up to the hunt camp tomorrow and I'll pull the necessary info to get a hard answer.

seeing as its that old, you have either a SERIES drive or a PDS/DCS drive system....look at the identifier image below.
 IF its a SERIES drive, you will see the F&R switch right in front of the controller on the passenger side of the cart and it will look like this and here is the buzzer.  |

you can always get some black tape and tape over the opening of the buzzer to quiet it down. I have done that to many of our customers hunting carts (RXV in-particular) to quiet them down.

Since you have an older system, you can disconnect yours with abandon, wont hurt it. The newer ones are "hardwired" for its reason.
