Where you get these ports? If they are the ones from ezgo, with a rotating door on front, they require a module to make the correct voltage.

It is the ezgo factory one. I'm assuming this 8 pin plugs into that module. About to see if it has a inline fuse somewhere.

If you try to wire-up those sockets without the module, anything plugged in to the ports will be destroyed. So, do all testing with your most expensive devices.

luckily i have 2 of these carts. I took working usb plug and fuse and it doesn't work in the other cart. This tells me it is in the module that controls the voltage.

now to find the part. does anyone know where to get that part?

appreciate it!! im not paying no $100 though. ill just get a converter and new usb port from amazon!!

the converter has only a positive and negative for the 12v load. do you know how i can use the existing two usb ports (because i know they are good.)? they have 4 wires coming out back for each port, so 8 wires to a 8 pin connection.

again thanks for your help!!
