change plug on Powerwise charger from new style to SB50?
I have a Powerwise charger that I would like to use on an 86 EZGO Marathon. The charger came with the newer style plug and i would like to convert it to the sb50 as this is what is on the cart. The DC cord on the Powerwise has a black, white and small red wire, the sb50 has two slots. The White and Black are easy enough(I hope), white (+) and black (-) but what about the red wire, where does it go? Should it be tied in with the white wire?
Thanks, Chris |

Re: change plug on Powerwise charger from new style to SB50?
Chris, I am also trying to change the connector on a Powerwise charger to an SB50. Did you ever get an answer to this question? Did you get the SB50 working properly?
Thanks, Bill |

when you dismantle the handle on the powerwise charger you will see that the red wire is on the same side as the black via a "spring" connection....
